What is EDGE?
The EDGE learning model seeks to challenge the traditional thinking of educational practices. EDGE was created to provide students the opportunity to pursue their own passions through a personalized learning model. Students will engage in authentic and memorable experiences, connected through all content areas, allowing them to develop the skills needed to compete in a global society.
|
EDGE mentors look at the big picture of learning, taking into consideration the rigor of student projects connected to the student's personal passion or interests in order to inspire, motivate and engage all students. Student evidence will be presented in authentic scenarios and student exhibitions. Students will participate in job shadows, apprentice learning, project-based learning, and travel.

Students are provided the opportunity each year to travel nationally. All trips are provided by EF Educational Tours and align to student's EDGE curriculum. Washington DC - students connect with our nation’s history and culture as they take in the museums, monuments and memorials. San Francisco : City by the Bay - students enjoy visits to Union Square, Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, Lombard Street, and Chinatown. |
COLORADO COLLEGE TOURS
EDGE students have the opportunity to explore colleges and universities throughout Colorado. Our ultimate goal is for students to truly explore the aspects that will be the best fit for them and provide opportunities that will ultimately make them successful beyond their education. With each college visit, students will explore the essential aspects of a college they are looking for, such as the importance of majors, internships, honors programs, financial aid, location, dormitories, student life, study abroad programs and more. |
